Dermatology
A safe harbour for your skin—medical excellence across a full range of dermatology services

Cosmetic Mole Removals
Cosmetic mole removals are a safe and simple procedure done under local anesthetic. Depending on mole location and size they can either be excised with scalpel and sewed with stitches or “shaved off”. Typically, there is little downtime or bruising. Ask Dr. Giberson if you would be a good candidate for cosmetic mole removal and for a quote.
Acne
Acne is a very common skin condition that doesn’t just impact teenagers. Pimples can be especially concerning if they are leaving scars behind. Dr. Giberson offers personalized treatment plans to her patients to clear acne and prevent scarring.

Psoriasis
Psoriasis is a chronic skin condition that causes red, scaly patches on the skin. While there’s no cure, there are now excellent, safe effective treatments. Depending on the severity and location of your psoriasis Dr. Giberson may propose topical, oral, light treatments or advanced therapies called therapeutics. We also have a narrow band UVB machine and treatment is covered by NB Medicare.
Hidradenitis Suppurativa
Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a chronic skin condition that causes painful bumps, abscesses, and scarring, often in the underarms, groin, or under the breasts. Early diagnosis and treatment are key. Dr. Giberson is an HS expert and provides compassionate, personalized care using medical, surgical, and lifestyle approaches to reduce flare-ups and improve quality of life.

Skin Cancer
Early detection is important in treating skin cancer. There are many types of skin cancer including basal cell carcinoma (the most common), squamous cell carcinoma and melanoma (the most serious). Our clinic offers skin cancer screenings. If Dr. Giberson suspects you have a skin cancer you can expect to have a biopsy the same day. Dr. Giberson does her own surgical excisions (wide local excisions) for most of the skin cancers we diagnose.
Narrow Band UVB
Narrowband UVB (nbUVB) phototherapy is a safe and effective treatment for conditions like psoriasis, eczema, and vitiligo. It uses a specific wavelength of ultraviolet light to reduce inflammation and slow abnormal skin cell growth. Treatments are quick, done in-office, and typically performed two to three times per week under dermatologist supervision.
